The Story Behind Ancient Olive

Part of the Endless Summer Memories collection, this handmade olive oil bottle is inspired by Mediterranean summers and the ancient olive trees that have stood for generations.

The soft green-grey tones of Ancient Olive recall centuries-old olive groves overlooking the sea. They remind me of ancestors gathering olives by hand, carrying heavy baskets through the groves and bringing the harvest to the mill, where it would be transformed into golden olive oil.

It brings back memories of children running barefoot through the shade, the scent of the sea mixed with freshly cut watermelon, salt drying in your hair after a swim, and hot stone beneath your feet. Simple lunches of fresh bread, pâté and juicy tomatoes sprinkled with sea salt. Sun-warmed cheeks, laughter carried by the wind, and long afternoons that seemed as if they would never end.

These are the memories hidden within Ancient Olive — memories of family, tradition and summers lived outdoors from sunrise until long after sunset.
