New to pottery? You’re in the right place 👋

At Sandra Clay Way, you learn in a relaxed and supportive environment — no experience needed.
All workshops are taught in small groups (maximum 5 participants), so there’s plenty of personal guidance and time to practice. Whether it’s your very first time touching clay or you want to build confidence at the wheel, you’re welcome here.

Mistakes are part of the process. You don’t need talent — just curiosity 🤍
Which workshop should I choose?
If you are completely new to pottery, I recommend starting with a Beginner Wheel Throwing Course.
These courses focus on:
-
learning the basics of the pottery wheel
-
building confidence and control
-
understanding clay and form
-
creating cylinders and bowls that actually stand
You’ll work on your own wheel and receive personal guidance during every session.
